What are cookies?
A cookie is a small file that a website stores on your device to remember information about your visit. The browser’s “local storage” works in a similar way. They don’t contain viruses — they’re just a way for websites to remember you.
What we store — no permission needed
within.gr works without cookies. The only thing we store on your device is:
- Your cookie choice — we remember that you’ve seen the banner and what you chose (local storage, 6 months). This is essential for us to respect your choice and needs no consent (ePrivacy Directive, Greek law 3471/2006).
We use no login cookie (there is no member account) and no language cookie — the language is set by the page address.
Optional tools — your choice
We don’t activate any optional tool until you actively say yes in the banner.
Statistics: We may use Google Analytics to understand how people use within.gr — which pages are popular, how visitors navigate. IP addresses are shortened; the data counts visits in aggregate. This tool is currently not active; if we switch it on, we will ask your permission first.
Marketing: We don’t use marketing or advertising cookies on within.gr. If that changes, they will appear here, and we will ask your permission first.
How to manage your choices
On this site: On your first visit, a banner offers “Accept all”, “Reject all” and “Settings”. You can change your choices anytime — via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
In your browser: You can also delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you clear the site data, the banner will appear again.
Third-party services
within.gr uses a few partners. They set no cookies on our pages; when you move on to them, their own policy applies:
- Mailchimp (newsletter): processes your sign-up when you fill in the form. mailchimp.com/legal/privacy
- Google Forms (workshop registration): the registration form for some workshops opens at Google. policies.google.com/privacy
- Cal.com (scheduling): once online booking is activated, you pick a time at Cal.com. cal.com/privacy
- Bunny.net (images): delivers the site’s images without cookies. bunny.net/privacy
- Fonts: hosted on our own site — no request to Google.
Your rights
Under the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR, you have the right:
- To know what is used — this page tells you
- To consent to non-essential tools — we ask via the banner
- To withdraw at any time — via “Cookie settings” or by clearing the site data
- To access the data — write to sofia@within.gr
